kay for some reason is an efficient way of shorting down the commonly used morpheme: "okay". It's meaning has a large scale of variety, but most of the times, it's meaning can be considered equal to alright.

However, in some certain, specific cases, it can be associated to another, widespread and pretty frequently used term or idiom, something along the line: "Yes, you already told me that and I don't need to be fucking told it again and you don't even make any sense with it so how about shutting your mouth and leaving me alone?".

I leave the decision of picking out the right one in this context to you.
